Airdrop on the Sion airfield
A new feature in this year’s edition is that the pilots can also influence their team’s ranking by either winning or losing time with the airdrop on the Sion airfield.
The following scoring is planned, determined by where the relay baton lands:
within 10m from the target: 3-minute bonus for the team.
up to 20m from the target: 2-minute bonus for the team.
up to 30m from the target: 1-minute bonus for the team.
more than 30m from the target: no bonus for the team.
The time bonus will be integrated into the overall ranking. As a result, the pilots can finally contribute actively to their team score.
